Omigosh, Curt...who would have thought that people would read what a newly-minted PhD has to say about her experience? Thanks for sharing this link, and for giving me a virtual soapbox. I'm still floored about completing seven years of hard work. Now I understand why people go "ABD" (all but dissertation) and finish the coursework but not the research and writing. Perseverance definitely takes passion! Hey, and that's YOUR subject!
Wishing you well,
Dr. Susan
