From disgruntled and stuck to energized and alive: A client success story
When it comes to the energy I get from my work, one of the biggest sources is seeing the resulting positive change in clients' lives. I love seeing them tap into their own energy source as they move into a career that lights them up and inspires them.
If you'd like to take a peek at an example of my process and the results, I recently interviewed a former client about her experience. You can read about it here.
Enjoy!

Curt -
Congrats, of course, but tell us a little about Amy's home life.
If I am reading the profile corectly, she went from a career in the Prison System to enrolling in school...and then she plans to start a spa of her own.
Is she married?
Is she raising children?
Does she live with anyone who is helping to provide income while she is not incurring any?
Did she have a large savings account to draw from during he time away from working?
Is am I misunderstanding, and perhaps she is still working WHILE she goes to school?
I know my passion is to start and run a business of my own. But I am supporting 2 small children and my wife cannot eearn what I currently earn. In order for my children to eat and wear clean clothes, I cannot give up my salary and benefits and go back to school to learn an altogether new career path.
I was curious how your client was doing it, financially.

Hi Jeff. Yes, she is married, and has no children. So logistically that certainly makes it easier.
Your comment about your own situation brings up a question so important, I'm writing a blog post on it..."What do I do when 'reality' gets in the way of pursuing work I love?"
Watch for it later today. Thanks for prompting it!

Hey Curt,
My name is Jennifer Manlowe, founder of LIFE DESIGN UNLIMITED, and I'm a friend of your friend Molly Gordon. Molly just plugged your book in her last newsletter so I had to buy it. I will be writing a review of it alongside "The Passion Test" by Janet and Chris Attwod. I'll publish this on my blog for people have too little time to read. It's called HELPFUL BOOKS and I've reviewed Molly's book there, too. Check it out: http://helpfulbooks.wordpress.com
Curt, I want to follow you on Twitter.com BUT, first, get an account there, okay? That would be a great place to offer little announcements (less than 140 characters). I'm on there under my name: Jennifer Manlowe. I make frequent posts related to writing that I do or recommend.
Blessings,
Jenn
P.S. I coach people who want to publish their writing or return to creativity in the public domain. Checkout my websites: http://MyLifeDesignUnlimited.com and/or http://LDUpublishing.com
