With the economy today, there is no shortage of adversity out there. So I was psyched to have a chance to interview Erik Weihenmayer for my podcast, a guy who has turned overcoming adversity into an art form.
You may remember Erik as the first blind person to successfully summit Mount Everest. Most recently, he paired up with adversity expert Dr. Paul Stolz to write the book, The Adversity Advantage.
Zip on over to this installment of The M.A.P. Maker Podcast to see what he has to say on:
- How you can benefit from adversity
- Problem-solving
- Making the hard choices
- Why now is a great time to reexamine your priorities
- The importance of surrounding yourself with the right people
- His experience taking six blind Tibetan kids up a mountain
- How his work to help people shatter barriers inspires him
Enjoy!
